2024 employer forms in TT home and business

I have been using TT Home & Business employer forms to prepare my W-2 and 1099 for over 10 years and have never had to wait to print the recipient forms until mid January. Last year I printed IRS forms for recipients beginning Jan 4. this is very frustrating and I do not want to try to find another platform for filing my forms. What is up with the program?

The electronic filing of Quick Employer Forms can take 2 - 4 weeks.   However, you should be able to print and mail the recipient copies now.  Use the PDF button next to each form to print the recipient copies and mail copies to recipients by January 31.  This due date is extended to February 15, for 1099-MISC with amounts reported in box 8 or 10.

They have not updated the Windows Desktop program for the Desktop Create Forms.  There are lots of posts and complaints.  We keep reporting it.
