<P>I will only purchase cd /dvd without this option, I will use a different tax software, I have been using turbo tax since the company started selling there software I have the copy of the 1st version made </P>

They still have the same Desktop program. But they only sell it as a download now. Although as I said above you can now buy an install CD for $10 AFTER you buy the download and License Code for the version you want. That’s if you don’t want to use the download method or want to reinstall or install it another computer.

And you always had to log in to install the CD and update it and if you want to efile at the end. But yes after you install it you can use it offline until you efile.
