WHEN I ENTER THE W-2 INFORMATION FOR 2020 -- THE PROGRAM QUITS

First make sure you have all your OS updates have been installed.  Then update the downloaded program you must be using.  Then, do NOT enter the EIN for the employer for the import function as it is no longer available ... scroll down and choose to enter it manually.

are you trying to use an online version because they're closed for any return prior to 2022? 2020 can only be prepared with the desktop app. if using the desktop app does it meet minimum system requirements?
