I need to download 2006 tax forms to process tax return

2006?   Sorry---that will not be possible with TurboTax.   TurboTax has software going back only as far as 2020.   Why--in 2024--are you trying to prepare a tax return for 2006?    You cannot receive a refund for 2006 tax return.   What are you trying to accomplish?

For older returns you have to go somewhere else or get the blank forms from the IRS.   Here is the link to all the prior year IRS forms
