Do I need a 1099-S for the sale of my Rental Property in order to file my taxes?
I have all the settlement sale information.
No, you do not need a 1099-S. If you rented the property during 2021, enter the sale in the Rental Section. If you did not rent at all in 2021, Enter it in Sale of Business Property.
