1099-R is being brought in as W2 something is wrong with software

I entered the 1099-R by uploading the file and from a picture on my phone. The result is the same. The software identifies it as a W2 not a 1099-R. Something is wrong with the software.

Yep...the AI charged with "interpreting" the picture can have major flaws....

I always tell people that if they can't import directly from the financial provider...they should just type it in themselves. The upload from a picture process, sometimes puts $$ in the wrong boxes...just don't use it to make form entries..
