1099-INT: Requires selectin a w/h state which is blank on my form. Reviewing my return says that I can't efile without resolving this.

1099-INT: Entered amounts for Boxes 1 and 3. Unmarked box for "my form has info in other boxes (this is uncommon". After saving changes, that box is still marked and screen requires selection of w/h state which is blank on my form. Reviewing my return says that I can't efile w/o resolving this.

I figured a way around this.  Erase the default 0.00 from Boxes 16 and 17 (State ID, State tax withholding) and it works properly.

since there is no state withholding omit all state information. it's not needed.

Enter "0" in all the blanks

In the last row Select Multiple States from the dropdown Menu

Save and go back to filing
