I forgot to add my wife's 1098-E form to my taxes. I know I can file an amended return to get more money back. I know that the amount difference will likely be very small - is it still required to amend my return to add this form?

It is optional to report the Student Loan Interest Paid from the Form 1098-E.
It is not required to amend your tax return to add this form, however you might get a deduction by adding it, and possibly receive a small refund depending on your situation.
Here is a little more information about the 1098-E
