Using Oregon form OR-WC for 2018, I prepaid estimated taxes for capital gains on sale of real estate. I am unable to find where to enter that credit in my state forms.

Sale was closed in March 2018 and estimated taxes were paid out of settlement funds by escrow.

You can enter this in the federal section and it will flow to Oregon. Here's how:

  • Personal
  • Deductions & Credits
  • Estimates and other Taxes Paid
  • State Estimated Taxes...update
  • Skip the quarterlies and click enter more payments (see screenshot)
