How many months in a state makes you a part time resident?

I moved to CO from AL on  08/01/2016. I worked in CO from 08/09/2016 - 11/04/2016 . I obtained my CO Drivers License 11/04/2016. Am I part time resident of each state ?

You are considered a part time resident of both AL and CO for 2016. If you had income while living in both states, you need to file a tax return for each state.
