I frequently end from my work day from sales at home and enter orders from home on my home computer is that commuting and can I deduct any of my internet and computer

I am in sales and do drive to work but very often I end my day at home as it is closer than going back to the office.

I log into my place of work from home and enter orders on my computer.

Yes, that is commuting and is NOT deductible.  Your miles traveled to and from home from your primary work location are commuting miles.

However, if you are at a clients location and leave there to go to your home, that would be counted as business miles and you could enter that as a job expense.

In order to claim a home office deduction, the office must be both exclusively used for your work and nothing else and be your principal place of business. If this is not the case then you cannot take a home office deduction.  https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tips/small-business-taxes/the-home-office-deduction/L1RZyYxzv
