You should first describe it here in the forum since it may be a known issue, or someone may be able to explain what you are experiencing. This is a public Internet forum, so don't post any personal info.
You also need to mention if you are referring to Online TurboTax or desktop software (CD/download), and what edition--Free, Deluxe, Premier, etc. And if desktop software, what tax year.
The issue is related to foreign income exclusion. The number from the software is 10K+ lower than the number I calculated. Since to calculate the exclusion needs data of personal income, I was looking for answer from Intuit employees.

Without more info, I'm really taking a jab in the dark but double check your answers when TT walked you through the section, especially if you lived & earned income in a foreign country. Below is a short article from TT. Hope this helps.
