To enter, edit or delete Child and Dependent Care expenses -

Click on Federal Taxes
Click on Deductions & Credits
Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
Under You and Your Family
On Child and Dependent Care Credit, click on the start or update button

To enter daycare expenses in TurboTax Online, navigate to the Deductions & Credits section. Your expenses are not a write-off, but they will be used to compute the Child and Dependent Care Credit.

Here is how to report this in TurboTax Online:

1. Open your return and click on the Federal, then Deductions & Credits.
2. Add more deductions, choose "You and Your Family."
3. Click Start or Revisit next to "Child and Dependent Care Credit."
   1. Alternatively, you can just type "child care credit" in the search bar and click the "Jump to" link that appears.
