Where do I file 1099-s sale of property other than main home

You can enter this 1099-S as an investment sale.

• Open (continue) your return in TurboTax Online. (If your return isn't open, you'll need to sign in, click Take me to my return, then click Pick up where I left off.)
• Click My Account (top right of your screen).
• Select Tools.
• In the pop-up window, select Topic Search.
• In the search bar, type 1099-s, sale of property.
• In the results box, highlight 1099-s, sale of property other than main home, then click GO.
• You'll land on Did you sell any investments in 2016? Click Yes and follow the onscreen instructions to report the sale.
