Where do I enter my mortgage interest amount from box 1 of my 1098?

If you have a Form 1098, Mortgage Interest Statement with amount in Box 1-Mortgage interest, use these steps to enter it. 

• Log into your account and click Take me to my return
• Then click on Search in top right and type in mortgage interest and hit enter
• Click on jump to mortgage interest 
• You should see Did you pay any home loans in 2017? screen. Select Yes
• If you already entered the Form 1098, you’ll see Mortgage deduction summary screen
• Hit Edit and continue through until you see Let's get the details from your xxxx 1098 now screen
• Continue through 2 more screens and on the Let's get the details from your xxxx 1098 now screen you'll enter interest paid in Box 1 there.

Another way to get to this section:

• Log into your account and click Take me to my return
• Click Federal to the left and Deductions & Credits at the top
• Scroll down to Your Home section and click Show More
• Click Start/Revisit next to Mortgage Interest, Refinancing, and Insurance (Form 1098)
