I have job-search related expenses in my same line of business.
I found these expenses can be deduced in the federal tax return but I cannot find where to enter then in turbotax.
If I go to job-related expenses, I see a note saying that such expenses are no longer deductible in the deferal tax return.
Thanks
Luca

Sorry----job-search expenses are not deductible on your tax return. That deduction went away when the tax laws changed for 2018 to 2025.
Where did you see that you can deduct job-seeking expenses on your federal tax return? There is an article in the TurboTax blog, "Top Job Seeker Tax Deductions," that says you can deduct the expenses. Is that where you saw it? That blog article is wrong. TurboTax is aware of the error.
