What is a worksheet l?

In TurboTax, a worksheet is a form on which to enter information or show the information that transferred from last year's return.  It is also used to show how certain calculations are arrived at (taxes and credits, for example).  Typically,  you will not see the worksheets unless you ask for them to be printed with your return or go into Forms Mode (in the CD/Download product).

You can view the entire return, including worksheets, by going into the TurboTax Print Center:

  1. Click Tax Tools in the black bar at the left of your screen;
  2. Click on Print Center.
  3. Click Print, save or preview this year's return.
  4. Check the appropriate boxes for Federal and/or State returns.
  5. To view the worksheets, select either:  Include government worksheets (optional) or Include government and TurboTax worksheets (optional)
  6. Click the View or Print forms box.
