Unable to claim dependent care credit for permanently and fully disabled spouse

Turbotax premier (desktop for Mac) is not letting me claim dependent care credit for disable spouse. My spouse was permanently and fully disabled for entire 2024. I marked her as disabled in Personal Info section, I have W-2 income from working while we paid for caregivers. When I try to claim this Dependent Care credit, and select my spouse from the "Whose care did you pay for" dropdown and hit continue, it says " You haven't entered any Qualified Dependents". And it doesn't allow me to enter spouse as a dependent under the Personal Info tab since she is my MFJ spouse. How do I fix this?

When you started the Child and Dependent Care section, there is a screen asking Tell Us More About (Your name and Your spouse's name).  Under your spouse's name you should have checked the box Disabled.  Then the follow-up questions concerning your spouse.  Then on the screen Whose care did you pay for?  In the dropdown you should be able to select your spouse's name.

You would not enter her as a dependent, you should be able to do this with her as your spouse, however, the credit will be limited if she did not work during the year.

When you get to the drop down, is her name there and able to be selected?  If so, then select it and hit continue
