Turbo tax wants to charge me $69 over a 52 cent foreign tax credit

my income is less than $5,000 dollars and i should be able to file free but they want to charge me $69 over a 52cent foreign tax credit

Leave out the foreign income. Don’t enter the dividend.

Or find a free program on the IRS website

At the 1099-DIV screen, in TurboTax (TT), leave box 7 blank. You are not required to report what's in box 7 (that 52 cents) to the IRS.
