How do you record prepaid property taxes for 2018? Can you just lump them with property taxes from 2017 listed on your 1099?

I do not want to list them in an 'estimate' category, because estimates are not deductible per IRS.

These go under Federal> Deductions and Credits >Your Home>Property Taxes.  You can lump all the payments (as long as they were for property used for personal use) there just by typing in the amount.

Yes, you can deduct all property tax you paid on all property you own in the year paid as long as you only use the property for personal use, and also itemize your deductions.

So, if you paid 2018 and 2017 property taxes in 2017, you can deduct the amount you actually paid in 2017.
