I live in Ohio and an as sub contractor teacher. I work in a building in Columbus but my office address is an area outside Columbus without local taxes. Do I have to pay local taxes since I work with kids in Columbus?
Thanks!!!

Yes, you likely have to pay Columbus local income taxes since you physically work with kids in Columbus, even if your office address is outside the city. Columbus taxes earned income based on where you work, not your office address. For more information, see the Columbus Income Tax Division scroll down and click on How do I determine where my local tax is owed?
For more detailed information, you can use The Finder tool from the Ohio Department of Taxation to find local tax rates and jurisdictions.
Thanks!!!!
