I don't understand why I suddenly need Premier to file a schedule D. Never had a problem in the past using Deluxe. I'm not a day trader trying to claim tens of thousands of dollars in gains/losses. We're talking under 1K here. Seems ridiculous I need to spend $119 just for that.
Can I manually do my schedule D and upload into TurboTax?
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
If you used Deluxe in the past to enter an investment sale then you were using the TurboTax Deluxe desktop CD/Download edition installed on a personal computer.
You are using the TurboTax online editions and the Deluxe online edition does not support a Schedule D or a Form 8949. You will need to upgrade to the Premier online edition for an investment sale if you choose to continue using the online editions.

Ahh thank you! At least I don't feel so crazy anymore!
