Resident state for resident alien (F1 student)

What should be resident state be if I am an international student using F1 visa and have been in the US for over five years? Should it be the state that I am currently studying in?

Resident state for resident alien (F1 student)

Yes, If you are now considered a US resident under the substantial presence test , you will use the state where you are currently living and studying in as your state of residence.
