We added solar panels to our home and the federal credit was applied to our refund but the state won't added it for some reason. Anyone know more info about this or how to get the state credit applied?
Thanks

We live in Utah. We were told there was a $1600 credit for state and the 30% of the cost for federal.
The Utah solar tax credit, officially known as the Renewable Energy Systems Tax Credit, covers up to 25% of the purchase and installation costs for residential solar PV projects, capped at $1,600 of cost, whichever is less. More information is available through the Utah Governor's Office of Energy Development.
