So 4 people total? It must not be counting one of you. Check everyone listed under My Info. Do both children show up as dependents at the top Online version 1040? And checked for Child Tax Credit or Other Dependent?
Or maybe you entered the 4,200 amount you got wrong. 2,100 for each spouse. Don't enter the 1,400 for the baby.
Did it ask if you got 5,600? Or only the 4,200? It should say the 5,600. And you answered NO and entered the 4,200?
As I said try deleting both children and re add them.
I deleted both and added again, its same . Not showing stimulus for new born baby jan2021.
Yes me and my wife filing jointly, so our kids are dependents and they are 2.
In my IRS account i see 2100 instead of 1400 , that makes me believe they split my child stimulus 1400 between( 700 and 700 ) me and my wife. So its 4200 (my bank deposit) matches.
question:
Based on tax info you entered and your combined adjusted gross income of 155K, you and your wife are eligible for payment of 2,464
Does this match with the letters(s) 6475 for you and your wife?
I selected No and entered 4200
Why it was showing 2,464 ? Shouldn’t it be 1400 + 1400 + 1400 = 4200 ? Because our income in 2020 was 122k , that’s how stimulus was sent . 155k was in 2021 , why turbo tax is showing you are eligible for 2464?

Sorry your 2021 AGI this year is too high to get anymore credit. It is really based on 2021. You actually got too much but you don't have to pay any back.
wasn't stimulus 3 given based on 2020 tax return filings?
Yes but that was just to get the checks out fast. Then it is reconciled it on 2021 return as the Recovery Rebate Credit. See questions 1 & 3 here,
