Using TurboTax Premier - It appears Its Deductible is still not working. Does anyone have any fixes? The one I saw about signing out, signing in and using older version is not working for me.

For anyone looking for the answer to my question: The answer from the support person is that the way it was done previously is no longer done. Now, one has to create an Its Deductible account, input there and transfer to TurboTax. The TurboTax software has not been changed to remove that Add/Edit items option. SO... bottom line is the way to do it has changed even though the software may not show that path.

Importing from It's Deductible never works before the end of the year as a rule ... wait until after the first.

The FAQ didn't say it would be fixed on January 1. It didn't give any specific date for it to be fixed. The FAQ refers to importing "your 2019 charitable transactions." Even though it is now 2020, you are still working on your 2019 tax return, and trying to import your 2019 contributions, i.e. the contributions that you made in 2019.

I'm sure it will be fixed soon.

Make sure you are using the same user name and password for both ID and TT. The "bug" should be fixed soon. They are working on it.

really tygrtchr? You think I didnt know that? I have been using its deductible since it first came out. Its not rocket science.

HEY TURBO TAX, IT STILL DOESN'T WORK!!! I have tried a mac, and windows computer. I have tried all the browsers on each computer. I have tried different internet connections. It just keeps saying ItsDeductible is unavailable.

And, rjs, I have all of my w-2's. I always receive them with my first check of the year. My taxes are done. except for my charitable donations.

Could you clarify which version of Turbo Tax that you are currently using? Importing your charity donations from ItsDeductible doesn’t require TurboTax Deluxe or above. But if you’re in TurboTax Free Edition or TurboTax Live Basic and adding your donations caused you to have a Schedule A (itemized deductions), then you’ll have to upgrade to TurboTax Deluxe.

Tried reaching out as requested. Spent 45 minutes with a self-described "trainee" who was not even able to determine who to ask for help and was able to offer no other resolution than 'try again later'. is the issue going to be fixed or am i going to have to manually re-enter the dozens and dozens of items ive already keyed into itsdeductible?

I'm trying to document a recent donation (clothing items) on ItsDeductible. When trying to find the value for the items I donated, it appears the search function can't even find 'hat' or 'shoes'. Nor does the "browse' function appear to be displaying the usual categories. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I'm using windows 11 and I get to the Its Deductible screen to do the import and I say yes I want to import and the program won't allow me to enter my credentials. I can't click in the field. I try and the cursor won't. I thought it might be an issue where I didn't see the cursor but its not that either...I type and nothing populates the field. Is it broken?

yes, it's broken. They have known about the problem for a month and they haven't fixed it. I had to re enter everything on turbo tax, because I was tired of waiting for them to fix it. The same thing happens every year, you would think that they would have learned by now.

I've been using this program for years and this is the most frustrating year of using it to date. @intuit You need to get it together!! Having to go in and change screen resolution is REDUCULOUS and not a solution. Fix your **bleep** software!!!! I'm about ready to punt this program! Seriously-test your software before you release it or Windows does another waste of time update-this is just stupid!
