how should I enter an APO address when there is no APO listed in the state drop-down box? It gives an error message when I select foreign or US territory

It gives an error message when I put the APO zip code in with Foreign/US Territory selected, and it will not accept the zip code with Hawaii selected. (Trying to enter a child care facility in Japan; Google suggested Hawaii is associated with zip code but Hawaii also wouldn't work)

When you are entering your address in the My Info section of the TurboTax online program, on the dropdown box under Type of mailing address, select Military (APO, FPO or DPO)

Additionally, if you are active military stationed out side the US and in the My Info section where it asks you for your resident state, you choose the state that is your Home of Record or State of Legal Residence.  Not Foreign or U.S. Territory (assuming either of those is not your HOR or SLR)
