How do I get this fixed? When I select to switch to Itemized Deductions, it doesn't update my amounts. It stays at the Standard amounts no matter how I toggle between.

For Clarification:

Does the charity donation show on your 1040 line 12b? How much?

Does the 1040 show Standard or Itemized Deductions? What is the amount of line 12a and line 12c?

Are you using TurboTax Desktop or TurboTax Online?

Did you click Continue after the  "Tax Summary for 2021" screen?

Hi Kris,

I have $25,100 on 12a, and $25,400 on 12c.  I have no cash donations entered under "Charitable Donations," and I'm Married Filing Jointly.  I'm not sure where the $300 input itself since I was never prompted, but it also should be $600.

Based on the information you provided, you do not have enough deductions to itemize. The standard deduction is accurate, however since you did not have any cash contributions on the return you will not get the deduction of $600.00  I suggest adding the $600 as cash contributions.  I mean add it if you actually had cash contributions.
