How can I fix my 1040/1040SR charitable contributions to an acceptable value? I am putting 300 in 10b, and TurboTax keeps say it's an unacceptable value.

I have the Deluxe Turbo Tax and and do not find #4 in your answer ...WRAP UP TAX BREAKS"  NOR #5 CHARIBABLE CASH CONTRIBUTIONS UNDER CARES ACT" as options when I click on Deductions & credits.  Are you using a different version?

I replied a few hours ago that my DELUXE version of TTAX did not have Steps 4 or 5 mentioned in the fix above.  I went back to the  entries and, although I didn't find those exact steps to choose,  I was able to get to the VIEW TAX SUMMARY and make a change to the entry for charities so that it is now 300.00.   It appears that way on the 1040 form worksheet also. Hope it continues to flow with the taxes.
