I'm not familiar with happens to electronic filing if a form is corrected. I've never had to do it before. It will be disappointing if that is the case since the problem is caused by TT. If the questions were asked in Easy Step, the form wouldn't have to be corrected. And we would not have wasted so much time trying to figure it all out.
Update: I opened a new return and started over (a couple of reasons for doing so, including the other dependent credit issue). When I reached the family credit section, Easy Step did ask the questions for the box on schedule 8812. Not sure whether a software update had fixed the problem, but it seems to be resolved. So maybe if you go back to Easy Step and revisit that section, it will fix the schedule for you.
I also have the same issue!
I strongly suspect it is a software bug that needs to be fixed at "other dependent tax credit" session of desktop version.
Does anyone know how to contact TurboTax support team to check it out?

I went through the IRS' Interactive Tax Assistant for the Child Tax Credit and Credit for Other Dependents. At the end of this tool, it told me that I can't get any "other dependent credit" and the reason.
If this tool does not show that you are eligible for these credits, then TurboTax won't either. I believe this is the reason for me. Hope it helps you too.
