Your charitable contributions end up on Schedule A, line 11 (cash donations) or line 12 (noncash donations).
When you look at this in Forms mode, find Schedule A in the list on the left and highlight it. You can also see your details on the Charitable Org worksheets.
Excellent answer and I've found the information on the section A form. My best option is to use the standard deduction and I don't see the $600.00 (joint) charitable deduction on the 1040 form. Where would this be located.
No above-the-line charitable deductions. During COVID, taxpayers could take up to a $600 charitable donation tax deduction on their tax returns. However, in 2022 and after, those who take a standard deduction may not take an above-the-line deduction for charitable donation.
