QCD not subtracted from taxable IRA/Keogh distributions

I took some of my IRA minimum required distribution as a QCD (qualified charitable distribution) that passed directly from my IRA to a set of charities. On my state TurboTax form it shows the amount of my taxable IRA distributions as the total minimum required distribution, without subtracting the QCD. Is this a bug or did I make a mistake while entering the QCD on my federal return?

Not all states recognize charitable contributions as a tax deduction. This article discusses how different states handle QCDs. If you have any questions, let us know where you reside.

Thank you for the answer. I was surprised when, doing my state return, the taxable IRA distribution amount was listed as the sum of the taxable amount I took plus the amount I had directly donated to charity. I pushed on with the rest of the return. In the end, it did not include the contribution with taxable income. But the earlier data displayed was disconcerting and not what I expected.
