I filed 2020 and 2021 prior years this year. So, I printed out 2020 federal an sent them an 2021 federal am sent them in the same envelope to the address advised for my state. I then printed 2020 an 2021 state and I sent them in the same envelope to the advised address. I did not know that this would be an issue. What is going yo happen? Should I reprint them an send them all in separate envelopes?

You need to send one of them again but you won't know which one they processed. They probably only processed 1 return in the envelope. When did you mail them? You should call the IRS and state and check which year they got. If you were getting refunds you could tell which year they paid.
So, I just sent them out last Thursday. And I have never had to mail them before. I have always E filed so I didn’t not know. It did cross my mind when I was ending them out and I should have just went with my gut an sent out two envelopes two federal am two state. So,basically I just wait or should I just go ahead and reprint them an send them all out individually?
Is there a chance they process them both?
There’s always a chance the IRS will process them both.
If you are due a refund, you can check the status of your refund at Where’s My Refund?
The IRS says, “When filing a paper return, check the status of your refund after 6 months or more.”
As of December 23, 2022, the IRS had 414,000 are paper returns waiting to be reviewed and processed. Your returns will be put at the back of the line.
If you are due a refund, filed on paper more than six months ago, and Where’s My Refund? does not indicate IRS received your return, you should resubmit your tax return.
