Paid RTA tax twice in the same year - can I enter both in my deductions? (WA state)

Hello, I bought a new car on Jan 2020 and paid RTA Excise tax. The Certificate issue date was set to Feb 2020, expiration date Jan 21, 2021.

Fast forward to December 2020, and I received the annual registration tax invoice, which I paid prior to the end of 2020.   This one has the following: Issue date: 12/29/2020; Expiration date: 1/21/2022.

Since I paid the RTA tax twice in the same year, am I allowed to add them both together on my taxes?

Thanks

Daniel.

Yes, the tax is deductible in the year paid, so you can combine them.
