New dependent addition

I have a dependent who was born in February of 2021. How do I add them to my taxes for the Credit?

Congrats on your new little one.
Later this summer the IRS will add to their Child tax portal the option to add dependents https://www.irs.gov/credits-deductions/advance-child-tax-credit-payments-in-2021. (See: https://www.irs.gov/credits-deductions/2021-child-tax-credit-and-advance-child-tax-credit-payments-t...)
Of course, if you did nothing then you also have the option to reconcile any amounts you were eligible for on your 2021 taxes (filed 2022).
