The credit will not work unless you have entered income earned from working before you start entering information for the credit. If you were self-employed and show a loss you will not get the childcare credit. Enter income for both of you and then work on the childcare credit.
Income has already been entered and dependent has been added. It asks if my self or my spouse was a full time student or disabled which neither of us were (and this is not a requirement) and then says we are not eligible. Our AGI is not high enough to get nothing.
You are posting from Self-Employed. Did you have a loss?
No. I have filled out the self employment section and the W2 section. No losses but it still says I don't qualify for the credit when I say neither of us were disabled or full time students.
Check again to make sure you entered income under each of your names. Sometimes users accidentally put it all under only one of the names. The income screens have spots for each name---check to be sure you entered income from working under both parents' names.
