My W2 Box 12 code W has $6,000.00. My employer contributed $500 and I contributed the $5,500. Do I enter $500 or $6,000 when queried on how much the employer provided?

Enter the amount from the W-2 box 12 code W exactly as written on the W-2   and you will NOT make any other entries later in the program  UNLESS you added to the HSA with funds from OUTSIDE the payroll system.  Read that screen carefully ...
