Kids ITIN was expired last year and the same has been successfully renewed and ACTIVE now, but TurboTax reporting ITIN as expired and not qualify for child tax credit?

Please be aware that your child need a Social Security Number (SSN) to qualify for the Child Tax Credit. But if your child has an ITIN you might qualify for the $500 Other Dependent Credit.

TurboTax has no way to know that - the expired message can only come form the IRS.    Perhaps the IRS database has not been updated yet.
