I filed mine on Jan 19th at like 115am EST & according to TurboTax it was accepted on Jan. 22nd within a couple hours of it being received. I was told refunds cannot be issued for filers who EITC/ACTC until mid Feb & the earliest they’d be deposited to people’s accounts is around Feb. 27th. There’s also been rumors that the IRS only does direct deposits on Tuesday & Thursdays which is weird because according to refund charts refunds look like they are being deposits are sent out on Mondays while some say Fridays. Now with it being President’s Day Monday the 18th they are saying it’s delaying refunds as well. Now last year, I filed around Jan. 29th according to TurboTax & it was received & accepted the same day then I got my direct deposit Weds. Feb. 21st at 345pm est. I have a feeling that if it’s not direct deposited in my account by EoB day then it will probably come in next week around the 19th but fingers crossed it comes in later today!

Check your DDD (Direct Deposit Date) from the IRS website. You'll need to download the Tax or Return Transcript. It'll give you a refund date. Ignore the April 15th 2019, unless you owe money.

For those who want to know if your refund is on it's way to your bank you can use this website https://taxpayer.sbtpg.com/login.... once the IRS approves your refund it is sent here to be disbursed to you. If they say they haven't received your refund then it is still processing. For those who have DDD of 2/22/19 you should be able to see when the IRS sent your refund. If your refund is delayed call the number provided on that website, once you complete the form, to see if all or some of your refund is being collected through the Treasury Offset Program. Basically, if you owe other federal agencies (i.e. unemployment, child support, etc).

Just checked where’s my refund and still processing your return. Transcript say the same codes for credits and the amount of my refund. Checked my bank account my money deposited either. It’s 2:50 am central time.

I friend filed on the 28 Jan and recieved it a week later I filed on the 2 February and am still waiting. Yes, it was a Saturday but you'd think they'd be able to get it done by now.
