Irs does not accept ev vin number

Please clarify your question by adding some additional information so we can provide a more helpful answer. Have you completed your Tax Return? You stated the IRS will not accept your VIN...Did you transmit your return or is the TurboTax program not accepting a number when you input it?

I was doing it in turbo tax. I also contacted Tesla who gave me clean vehicle sellers report(form 15400) which has the same vin Number.

IRS tell me that there is a fault in turbo tax software. They also suggest that file a paper return but TurboTax will not let me print it unless I correct the errors.

Was your return rejected by the IRS or you are having an error in TurboTax and have not been able to hit the Transmit now button?  If so, did you click fix my return? Did you double check to make sure your 0's were not O's. 1's are not L's or vice versa?

 If you click fix my return, it will take you back into your return and then you can just go to file, then select Print and Mail your return.  You do not have to make any corrections.
