Child support is not entered on a tax return. It is not deductible for the person paying support, nor is it taxable for the person receiving child support.
Child support expenses are not deductible on either the Federal or the Georgia state return.
According to IRS rules, child support received doesn't count as taxable income, nor can you deduct any child support payments you make.
