If a realtor incurs expenses to repair a their own home, are those expenses deductible on that realtors taxes?

I listed and sold my own home and paid for some repairs/updates to the home, such as painting, landscaping, siding repairs. Can I claim these as a business expense?

No. That is still a personal expense. You cannot claim business expenses for the sale of your personal home even if you are a realtor.

schedule 1 part 1 8z list 12,832 for qual state tuition prgm from 1099-1. Why was that added as other income? All distributions were qualified expenses.
