I use my personal mobile phone and internet for my independent contracting business, can I deduct these?

You can only deduct the portion of the bill you can document for business use in the event of an audit.

However, you can deduct the entire phone bill if the phone is dedicated solely for business.

You should apportion internet expense for business use. For example if you use your internet 60% for business, 40% for personal use, deduct accordingly. Make your best conservative estimate.
