I need to file a Foreign Earned Income Exclusion Form 2555-EZ how or where do I get that form?

Hello!

From TurboTax Double online edition, to enter foreign earned income/exclusion, here are the steps:

  • After sign into your account, select Pick up where you left off
  • At the right upper corner, in the search box, type in foreign income and Enter
  • Select Jump to foreign income, follow prompts to upgrade
  • Next screen, Did You Make Any Money Outside the United States? answer Yes
  • On-screen, What Form(s) Was Foreign Income Reported On ? make your selection and continue to enter information

-After the exclusion, if you paid taxes to both foreign and US government on any additional same amount of income, you may qualify to claim a foreign tax credit by filing a Form 1116 Foreign Tax Credit.

To enter and create a Form 1116, go to:

  • After sign into your account, select the orange button Pick up where you left off
  • At the right upper corner, in the search box, type in foreign tax credit and Enter
  • Select the 1st choice on the search results - Jump to foreign tax credit
  • Start with screen Foreign Taxes and select Continue to follow prompts.

I hope you will find the information helpful!
