I moved twice in the last year, but only as a renter. Does this effect my tax info? Or do I even bother putting it? I have no clue.

No. It should not effect your tax info unless:

  • You moved to a different state, or
  • You moved to a county that had an income tax.

People move all the time.  You do not have to enter on your tax return that you moved.  Moving expenses are not deductible on a federal return.   Did you change states or just relocate within the same state?   In MY INFO, use the mailing address you want the IRS and state(s) to use if they need to mail you a letter or a check.

In certain states (like Ohio) your local tax situation may have been affected by moving.
