There are almost two dozen kinds of 1099's. What kind are you asking about? 1099R? 1099B? 1099DIV? 1099NEC? etc etc etc.

Since you're talking about itemizing it suggests that you got a 1099-NEC or 1099-MISC. In either case it would suggest that you're dealing with a self-employed business situation.

Depending on what you're doing, there could be many items to offset your income.

Cost of goods sold.
Internet access.
Related travel.
Advertising cost.
and many others.

If you use the Self-employed version of TurboTax, it will provide a list of possible alternatives.
