I'd like to complete and submit an IRS Form 5695. I had solar panels added to my house 2022. I still haven't been able to collect the tax credit for them.

You need to apply for the energy credit on your 2022 tax return. If you are unable to use the whole credit in that year, you can carry over the balance to the next year. You apply for the credit by going to the Deductions and Credits section in TurboTax and then Your Home and then Energy Credits. Once you complete that section, Form 5695 will be populated and submitted with your amended return.

You will see an option when you log into your TurboTax program to amend a return which you can do for free.
