I was happy to see an answer to my same problem, Before I do this correction, I'd like to know:
1) Will I have to this every year?
2) Since it remembers the address already, will it double count the property depreciation, or otherwise confuse the IRS?
3) 2017 return was correct, 2018 missed this depreciation which I just found out. Other major improvements were carried over. We have owned this property since 1999, and it has a 27.5 year life. Will the later 27.5 year improvements also disappear at some time in the future?
