The screen for entry of "Property tax on your main home" will not accept any entry. With no entry in that field or any other fields on that screen I get to a screen that says: "We need a bit more info to see if you qualify". This is followed by a graphic which says :Checking for Property ( Real Estate) Tax Deduction. This is followed by a link labeled: "Why don't you know what my property deduction is?" Clicking this link takes me back to the screen where I cannot enter the info I would like to enter.
When I run the check at the end of the Deductions page the result is my being informed that I entered home mortgage interest but not property tax expense. Answering "Yes" takes me back to the screen where I am unable to enter my property tax.
FYI, this may be a moot point in that I may use the standard deduction. However, I want to be sure all relevant data is in Turbotax for 2018.
I submitted a similar question about a week ago which has apparently been deleted or archived. I don't believe that I did either of those actions.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
