How can I enter Form 1116 carryovers into Desktop TT Home & Business?

After many years, my CPA decided I was too small a potato to work with, so I'm using TT Home & Business (desktop version) for the first time. My CPA gave me a list of Form 1116 carryovers for 2018-2022, some of which are for Form 1116 AMT. How/where do I enter these into TT so that it will use them this year (if possible) and will track them going forward?

The easiest way is probably using the "Forms Mode".  

1. Open Form
2. Use the Federal forms dropdown
3. Find the Form 1116 Comp Wkst
4. Create new
5. Name it (Copy 1, for example)
6. Select a category of income (a-g) For example, dividends and interest are passive category or wages/self-employment is General category
7. Scroll down to the Foreign Tax Credit Carryovers table
8. Make entries in the carryover column for the corresponding year from your 2022 worksheet
9. Same process for the AMT entries in table below that
10. You should then see a form 1116 created in your forms list on the left hand side with the name you entered
11. If you have another category of income to enter
12. Open form
13. Find the Form 1116 Comp Wkst
14. Create new
15. Name another (copy 2)
16. Same entry process
